Filmmaker Anurag Basu has broken his silence on the box office failure of his last release Jagga Jasoos saying that people who have not liked his film have paved his way for his next and promised not to disappoint with his next film. Though Anurag has not mentioned any names in his tweets but it is being said that his response came after Rishi Kapoor slammed him for being irresponsible. The movie featured actors Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif in pivotal roles.

"Sorry, I was out of radar. Thank you so much for your love and appreciation for #JaggaJassos. It's like oxygen for me right now. Tight Hugs!

"And for those who disliked it, hugs for them too, because your rejection paves the way for my next and I promise i'll try not to disappoint you," Basu tweeted today.

The movie, which was produced by Ranbir, could not recreate the magic of Basu and the actor's previous collaboration, Barfi!, and was plagued by delays from the start.

Jagga Jasoos couldn’t do wonders at the box office. On a related note, Ranbir is busy with Sanjay Dutt biopic directed by Rajkumar Hiraniand Katrina is shooting for Tiger Zinda Hai.
