The Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif starrer Jagga Jasoos may have failed at the box-office but, the film is making huge headlines thanks to several controversies. Veteran actor Govinda was supposed to be a part of the Anurag Basu directional venture but his role was chopped off at the last moment. Now, the Hero No. 1 actor has expressed his happiness to Rishi Kapoor, who recently lashed out at the Jagga Jasoos filmmaker for lukewarm response of the film. Rishi also slammed the director for removing Govinda’s part for which the actor is now thankful.
Speaking to a leading daily. Govinda said, “Thank you Rishi sir. At last, you showed concern. Good blood never speaks wrong”.
Recently Govinda also took to Twitter to express disappointment and shared that he didn't charge any amount for appearing in the Anurag Basu film. "I gave full respect to Kapoor family. I did the film because he (Ranbir) is my senior's son. I was told I will get the script. I was told they will narrate the film in South Africa and I didn't even charge my signing amount (and) made no contracts," the actor tweeted.
