First teaser of Bharat out: Salman Khan treats fans with perfect Independence Day gift

Before sharing the teaser of Bharat, Salman Khan wished his fans and followers on Independence Day.

Salman Khan has unveiled the first teaser of his forthcoming film Bharat, giving us a sneak peek into what the story is all about. Salman released a short clip on the 72nd Independence Day and it is the perfect occasion as the film talks about the 'journey of a man and a nation together'. In the 50 seconds clip, we can hear a narration in Salman's voice. ''Baauji kehte the kuch rishte zameen se hote hai, aur kuch khoon se.. mere paas dono the''.

Along with the clip, the superstar wrote, '''Kuch Rishte Zameen se hote hai, Aur kuch Khoon se.. Mere Paas Dono Thee ! कुछ रिश्ते ज़मीन से होते है, और कुछ खून से.. मेरे पास दोनो थे !'' This is not the first time, Bharat team has given us glimpse of the film. Earlier, director Ali Abbas Zafar shared a couple of stills and behind-the-scenes pictures on his Instagram story.

Before sharing the video, the 52-year-old wished his fans and followers on Independence Day. He said, ''Wishing sab ko a v happy independence day. B financially independent but try n remain emotionally dependent, all the happiness n success to all. #HappyIndependenceDay2018.” Director Zafar also shared the video and wrote, ''Mitti aur Desh ….Bharat…Wishing everyone a very happy Independence day …..''

Salman Khan's Bharat team has already wrapped its Mumbai schedule and now they are currently shooting in Malta. The team shot two dramatic sequences in Mumbai. The shooting of the film will take place in Abu Dhabi, Punjab, New Delhi among other cities.

Bharat is a remake of the 2014 South Korean film Ode to My Father. Both Salman and his leading lady Katrina Kaif will be sporting five different looks for the film. Disha is playing a trapeze artist in the flick. The movie also features Nora Fatehi, Tabu and Sunil Grover and is slated to release during Eid in 2019.

Bharat marks the third collaboration of Salman and Zafar, who have earlier worked in Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai. Both the movies went on to mint more than Rs 300 crores at the box office. On the other hand, Zafar has also worked thrice with Katrina and shares a close bond with her.
