The entire team explored the story for almost two years and director Ranjit Tiwari even talked to jail inmates. It was quite evident from the trailer that the prisoners form band to escape from the jail but in real life none of the band members did this. Aseem explained that to add drama to the movie, jailbreak part was added which was stimulated from Tihar and Meerut District Jail.

Talking about Diana’s character, Aseem stated that the Nikkhil Advani was very clear about her look and the team drew inputs from Nikkhil’s wife Suparna Gupta, who is also an NGO worker.
