Baaghi 2 box office collection
The Ahmed Khan directorial film Baaghi 2 featuring Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani earned a massive Rs 12.10 crore despite Bharat Bandh on Monday. The action drama, which released on March 30, is continuing to take everyone by surprise. The box-office collection of the film stood at Rs 73.10 crore at the third day of its opening. With the Monday figures, Baaghi 2’s business has moved up to a grand total of Rs 85.20 crore.
Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, “Despite bandh affecting biz in various states, #Baaghi2 puts up a SUPERB double-digit total on Mon... Biz gathered momentum towards evening shows... Speeding towards 100 cr... Fri 25.10 cr, Sat 20.40 cr, Sun 27.60 cr, Mon 12.10 cr. Total: ₹ 85.20 cr. India biz”.
Not only in India, the Tiger Shroff film has been creating wonders at the international box-office as well. “It's often said that action films don't work or find limited patronage Overseas, but #Baaghi2 has proved the thought wrong... Collects $ 3.4 million [₹ 22.11 cr] in its opening weekend... SUPERB!”, Taran Adarsh wrote.
Lead actor Tiger Shroff shared a lovely video on social media thanking fans, friends and family for showering love and support.
Baaghi 2 is all set to enjoy a long solo run at the box office as there is no major release scheduled for the next two weeks, which means Baaghi 2 has a good chance of scoring big time at the box office and solidify its place as one of the highest grossing films ever.
The film is already the fifth highest grossing film of 2018 and the biggest opener of 2018.
Apparently, Baaghi 2 is the seventh highest grossing action film of all time and is all set to become Tiger’s highest grossing film till date.
