New Delhi: When music maestro A.R Rahman sings it touches the heart strings of everyone listening. The song ‘Kun Faya Kun’ from the movie ‘Rockstar’ is one of the many soulful tracks sung by Rahman that have a unique aura of their own.

Now, this song has crossed the boundaries of nationality and race.

Interestingly, Rahman recently presented three students scholarships named after him to study at the Berklee College of Music.

In 2014, A.R. Rahman was awarded an honorary doctorate by the popular music school, which is in operation for 70 years now. Rahman had even performed at a concert for the institute after which this particular scholarship was named after him.
