Alia Bhatt’s father Mahesh Bhatt's review of Raazi will make her feel proud

Alia Bhatt’s first outing with renowned filmmaker Meghna Gulzar Raazi will hit theatres today. In Raazi, Alia will be seen in three shades including a daughter, a wife and a spy. Raazi is also Alia’s first collaboration with actor Vicky Kaushal.

Alia Bhatt’s first outing with renowned filmmaker Meghna Gulzar Raazi will hit theatres today. In Raazi, Alia will be seen in three shades including a daughter, a wife and a spy. Raazi is also Alia’s first collaboration with actor Vicky Kaushal.

Ahead of the film release a special screening of Raazi was organised in Mumbai on Wednesday night. The screening was attended by bevy of celebrities including filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani, Dhadak stars Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter, filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt, actress Taapsee Pannu, Mouni Roy and others.

And celebs called Alia and Vicky’s performance in Raazi perfect and the film an outstanding one.

But Alia’s dad Mahesh’s review of Raazi will surely make her feel proud. Praising Alia’s performance in Raazi, her father wrote, ‘’Raazi movie review: In Meghna Gulzar's engaging thriller, Alia Bhatt gives her career's best performance so far .’’

Filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani was also touched by Raazi and Alia's performance in the film. He tweeted, ''Filmmaker Hirani praising Alia’s Raazi tweeted, ‘’Saw #raazi. It’s an outstanding film and @meghnagulzar a master storyteller. Watch it for a great story and amazing performances from @aliaa08 @vickykaushal09 and all others. Salutes @JungleePictures @karanjohar.’’

Alia's Raazi is helmed by Meghna Gulzar and is produced jointly by Junglee Pictures and Dharma Productions. Raazi is a story of a Pakistani man and a spy named Sehmat, the character played by Alia while Vicky is essaying the character of Alia's husband in the film.
