Actor Ajay Devgn will next be working with the makers of ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’, Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg for an urban romantic comedy film. The film will mark the directorial debut of renowned editor Akiv Ali.
The actor who is currently busy with the work of his upcoming film ‘Baadshaho’ will play the role of an urban guy in the film that will portray modern relationships. He is teaming up for the first time with Luv.
Luv Ranjan and his partner Ankur Garg are bankrolling the project. Luv said that the role will come natural to Ajay and his humour will perfectly match with his writing.
The filmmaker has helmed the successful movies like ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’ and ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2’. Both the films received positive response for its good story and portrayed the situation of modern relationships in a quirky way. With makers of these movies producing the project that will feature the talented actor as lead, it is going to be interesting.
Akiv Ali who is wielding the megaphone for the first time has worked in movies like ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’, ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’, ‘Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai’.
On a related note, ‘Baadshaho’ also features Emraan Hashmi, Esha Gupta and Ileana D’cruz in pivotal roles.
