Superstar Aamir Khan who has done wonders in many Bollywood films, now wants to try his luck in the regional cinema. The actor wishes to work with Southern stars and also stated that he was their biggest fans.
The actor was speaking at a press meet in Hyderabad. Aamir revealed that he really admired Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan in Telugu movies, and as far as Tamil films were concerned, he would love to work with Rajinikanth. He also called himself one of Thalaiva’s biggest fans.
Aamir said, “I have always been a big fan of Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan in Telugu. So I would love to act with them, if it is a Tamil film I would love to work with Rajinikanth, he is someone I have been a huge fan of all along, so if I get a chance to work with him I would love that.”
His upcoming film ‘Dangal’ will also be released in Tamil and Telugu. Talking about that, Aamir revealed that he was yet to watch the two versions. However, he liked the few scenes that he saw. The actor loved himself speaking Tamil and Telugu, and also expressed his sadness of not doing the film in the original language. He even called it difficult to learn a new language.
He added, “I wish I could have done a film in the original language itself, but it will be difficult for me to learn entirely a new language. But if that happens, I would love it.”
‘Dangal’ is based on the real life incident of Mahavir Singh Phogat. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the movie is slated to release on December 23.
