Final voter turnout in four phases of  Lok Sabha Elections 2019 are -- Phase-1: 69.5%, Phase-2: 69.44%, Phase-3: 68.4%, Phase-4: 65.51%

The fate of two former Chief Ministers and a central Minister will be decided in Jharkhand's second phase of polling in the Lok Sabha elections slated for May 6, as campaigning ends on Saturday evening.

On May 6, polling will take place for four Lok Sabha seats -- Ranchi, Khuti, Hazaribagh and Koderma.

All eyes are on Khuti, Koderma and Hazaribagh.

First Chief Minister of Jharkhand Babulal Marandi who is also the President of the Jharkhand Vikas Morcha-Prajatantrik (JVM-P) party, is fighting from the Koderma seat.

He was elected to the Lok Sabha from Koderma in 2004 and 2009. He was Chief Minister from November 2000 to March 2003. 

The opposition BJP Saturday released an 'aarop patra' or charge sheet against the Kamal Nath-led government in Madhya Pradesh, targeting it over its "failure" to deliver on the promises it had made to the people.

The charge sheet, which is a 12-page booklet, lists the "unfulfilled promises" of the Congress, which formed the government in the state in December last year.

The saffron party alleged that among other things, the Congress duped farmers in the name of loan waiver. It also said that the ruling party has disappointed the people of the state as its assurances have remained "only on paper", as against its claim of implementing 83 promises.

In Pratapgarh rally, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today said, "Congress leaders are happily sharing stage with Samajwadi Party in rallies, these people have betrayed Behenji so cunningly that even she is not able to comprehend."

"Party which was staking claim to PM post before the first round of voting now admits to being a vote cutter," the prime minister said. 

Rajasthan Congress president Sachin Pilot on Saturday said the BJP had failed to tell people during the Lok Sabha election what had it done for them in the last five years and exuded confidence that his party would sweep the state by winning all the 25 Lok Sabha seats in the ongoing polls.

"Poll campaigns should be run on the issues of governance, investment etc. The Congress carried out a positive election campaign, unlike the BJP, which did not show its report card. No leader of the BJP is ready to talk about jobs, which is the core issue," the Rajasthan deputy chief minister told reporters at the party office.

"There is a wave in favour of the Congress and we are going to accomplish our target of 'Mission 25' (winning all the 25 Lok Sabha seats in Rajasthan)," he added.

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot today said the Congress campaign has been very good and is well managed. 

"Congress campaign has been very good and well managed, due to which PM Modi and Amit Shah are focusing on Rajasthan and are campaigning continuously. PM is doing three meetings in a day which means they are nervous now," the chief minister said.

BJP MP Meenakshi Lekhi Saturday said only actresses with a TMC ticket do not represent all women in politics, and that the Mamata Banerjee-led party fielding popular faces of the Bengali film industry cannot be called women empowerment.

The BJP candidate from the high-profile New Delhi Lok Sabha constituency also said all parties need to put in extra efforts to boost the participation of the fairer sex in public life at every level.

Only 18 of the 164 candidates in the fray in Delhi are women, according to data from Delhi's chief electoral office.  

Actor-turned-politician Sunny Deol is slated to hold roadshows in Uttar Pradesh today. The BJP member will hold roadshows in Raebareli, Prayagraj and in Phoolpur. 

Other than this, Sunny Deol will also campaign in Rajasthan's Churu, Jhunjhunu and Jatwara.

Congress president Rahul Gandhi accused the BJP-led government on Saturday of compromising in dealing with the challenge of terrorism and cited the release Jaish-e-Mohammed chief Masood Azhar during the NDA rule.

Addressing a press conference at the Congress headquarters here, he said, if voted to power, his party will adopt a more stern approach in combatting terrorism than what the Narendra Modi government's approach has been.

"Masood Azhar is a terrorist, he must be punished. But who sent him to Pakistan?," the Congress chief asked, adding that his party had never sent a terrorist back to Pakistan.

Accusing the BJP-led government of destroying the country's economy, he said, "I see a scared prime minister these days, who is unable to face the opposition onslaught."

Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Saturday accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of disrespecting the country's armed forces by comparing surgical strikes to video games.

Addressing a press conference at the party office here, Gandhi said: "The Army is not a personal property of Modi ji. Modi thinks the Indian Air Force, Navy and the Army are his personal properties.

"These surgical strikes were not carried out by Modi ji, it was carried out by our forces. And if Modi ji says that the earlier surgical strikes were not real surgical strikes and a video game, then he is not demeaning the Congress but he is disrespecting the armed forces."

Congress President Rahul Gandhi today accused the Bharatiya Janata Party of freeing Masood Azhar and sending him back to Pakistan. 

"Strictest of actions should be taken against Masood Azhar, but who sent him back to Pakistan? Who bowed down to terror and released him? Not the Congress, but it was the BJP government," the Congress chief said. 

Talking about the Supreme Court proceedings over his remark 'Chowkidar Chor hai', Congress President Rahul Gandhi today said, "Process is going on in Supreme Court and I made a comment attributed to the Supreme Court so I apologised."

"I did not apologize to BJP or Modi ji. 'Chowkidar Chor hai' will remain our slogan," the Congress chief said during the press conference. 

Addressing a press conference in Delhi, Congress President Rahul Gandhi today said the Army, Air Force or Navy are not personal properties of Narendra Modi ji. 

"The Army, Air Force or Navy are not personal properties of Narendra Modi ji like he thinks. When he says that surgical strikes during UPA were done in video games then he is not insulting Congress but the Army," Rahul Gandhi said. 

"The biggest issue right now is unemployment and how Modi ji has destroyed the economy," Rahul Gandhi said during a press briefing today.

"The country is demanding answers on the promise of 2 crore jobs, but Modi ji doesn't speak a word on jobs or farmers as he has nothing to say," the Congress chief further said.

While addressing a press conference in Delhi today, Congress President Rahul Gandhi said Prime Minister Narendra Modi is losing the elections. 

Gandhi further accused the prime minister of destroying the economy of the country. 

Bharatiya Janata Party President Amit Shah is slated to address election rallies in Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Delhi today. 

The BJP chief will hold public meetings in MP's Rewa (at 11 am), following which he will travel to UP, where he will address rallies in Fatehpur (at 1 pm) and in Amethi (at 2:40 pm). 

Shah will also address a rally in Delhi's Rohini area at 6:30 pm. 

Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi is slated to hold a roadshow in Amethi today, which will also witness a roadshow by the Bharatiya Janata Party President Amit Shah. 

The Congress party will hold a press conference at its headquarters in Delhi at 10 am today. 

Congress President Rahul Gandhi will be in Amethi today, where he will be a part of the workers' meet.

Gandhi is also slated to address an election rally at HUDA ground in Gurugram today.

Campaigning for the fifth phase of Lok Sabha polls will end on Saturday evening.

Polling in states and constituencies will be held on May 6. Counting of votes for all the phases will be taken up on the 23rd of this month. 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is slated to address massive election rallies in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar today.

Modi will address public meetings in UP's Pratapgarh at 11:30 am and in Basti at 1:30 pm. 

In Bihar, the prime minister will address a rally in Valmiki Nagar at 3:30 pm.
