BJP leader Ram Madhav reacted on Mamata Banerjee's remark 'I don't consider Narendra Modi as PM'. He said, "It is unfortunate, for her everything is politics, there's no civility in discourse. It's 'jungle raj' and dictatorship in Bengal. Violence is so much that EC is forced to deploy central forces at polling booths."

"I know Mr. KCR(Telangana CM) nurtures ambition of being the kingmaker, his party and his son say in Telangana that they will be kingmakers, want to tell them that we already have the king so we don't need kingmakers now," said BJP leader Ram Madhav.

Congress President Rahul Gandhi and Congress candidate Kirti Azad held a roadshow in the Dhanbad constituency.

Addressing a rally in Bishnupur, West Bengal, BJP chief Amit Shah says, "Priyanka Vadra just called PM Modi 'Duryodhana,' Priyanka ji this is democracy, nobody becomes 'Duryodhana' just because you called them so. We will find out on May 23 who is Duryodhana and who is Arjuna."

Addressing a rally in Mandawali ,Delhi Yogi Adityanath said, "Congress has completely failed, Shehzada also failed so they brought in their Shehzadi. She was teaching abuses to innocent children of Amethi, please and go teach these abuses in Italy."

"Chunaav ke prachaar mein BJP ke neta kabhi ye nahin kehtey ki unhonein jo vaayde kiye thhay woh poore kiye ya nahin. Kabhi shaheedon ke naam par vote maangtey hain, toh kabhi mere parivaar ke shaheed sadasyon ka apmaan kartey hain," Priyanka Gandhi says, at a rally in Haryana's Ambala.

"Mamata Didi says she doesn't consider Modi jee as the prime minister. According to the Constitution, whosoever people of the country elect is the prime minister. Aapke na maanne se kuchh nahin hota, aur 5 saal ki tayyaari kar lo Modi jee phirse eik baar pradhaan mantri ban ne ja rahe hain," Amit Shah says.

"Election in West Bengal is for restoring democracy in the state," BJP president Amit Shah says, while addressing a rally in West Bengal.

He adds, "If Lord Ram's name is not taken in India, will it be chanted in Pakistan?"

The DMK Tuesday indicated its party chief MK Stalin may not meet K Chandrasekar Rao on May 13, as announced by the Telangana Chief Minister's Office earlier.

Sources close to the DMK President only said Stalin was 'busy' with his campaign schedule for the May 19 by-polls to four constituencies in the state and declined to divulge more details.

Earlier, a statement from the Telangana Chief Minister's Office (CMO) had said that Rao would meet the DMK chief at his residence here on May 13.

Bihar District Magistrate, Alok Ranjan Ghosh, today reacted to EVMs and VVPATs recovered from a hotel in Muzaffarpur on Momday. 

"Sector officer was given some reserved machines so that it could be replaced with faulty ones," he said. 

"After replacing EVMs, he was left with two balloting unit, 1 control unit and two VVPAT in his car," the DM added.

"He shouldn't have unloaded the machines in the hotel which is against rules. Since he violated, a departmental investigation will be done," Ghosh said. 

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will hold election rallies in Delhi's Mandawali area today.

The chief minister will campaign for cricketer-turned-politician and Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Gautam Gambhir in the national capital. 

Bharatiya Janata Party President Amit Shah is set to hold four public meetings in West Bengal and Bihar today. 

In West Bengal, Shah will address rallies in Midnapore (at 11 am and then at 12:30 pm) and in Bishnupur (at 2:15 pm). While in Bihar, the BJP chief will address a rally in Patna at 5 pm. 

Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra is slated to campaign in Haryana today. Priyanka will also address election rallies in Hisar and Ambala. 

Other than rallies, the Congress General Secretary will also hold a roadshow in Rohtak today. 

Congress President Rahul Gandhi is slated to address election rallies in Jharkhand and West Bengal today. In Jharkhand, the Congress chief will hold a rally in Chaibasa, while in West Bengal, he will address a public meeting in Purulia. 

Gandhi will also hold a roadshow in Jharkhand's Dhanbad city today.
