The grand old party Congress will release its manifesto on Tuesday for the Lok Sabha elections 2019 in the national capital. The manifesto document will be released by Congress president Rahul Gandhi. All top party leaders, including former prime minister Manmohan Singh, will be present at the party's headquarters. Meanwhile, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Amit Shah will flag off the party's campaign for the 2019 general elections in Karnataka's 28 Lok Sabha constituencies on Tuesday in this tech hub, a party official said. In another development, the Election Commission of India (ECI) on Monday sought a "factual report" from the Ghaziabad District Magistrate on Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath calling the Army "Modiji ki sena" (Narendra Modi's army). The DM would have to submit the report to the Chief Electoral Officer in Lucknow by Tuesday noon, an Election Commission official said, reported IANS.
