Congress spokesperson Priyanka Chaturvedi in a debate at India TV conclave said that India needs an effective leader not a useless leader.

Replying to her, BJP spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia pointed towards Rahul Gandhi and said he is not effective to lead the country.

Samajwadi Party spokesperson Ghanshyam Tiwari said that the BJP government does not want the people of the country to know about the truth.

"Opposition is ready to collect the votes of the people and we will be elected to power in Lok Sabha Elections 2019," Priyanka Gandhi assured the audience at India TV's Chunav Manch.

"BJP's name will be put to the forefront if we analyse the reasons behind unemployment and other issues in the country," she added.

When asked about alliance, Chaturvedi said,"We will only form alliances when we find similar ideologies, unlike the BJP, that joined hands with PDP and burnt Kashmir."

Gaurav Bhatia said,"Modi ji is one prime minister who killed terrorists by entering Pakistan." Talking about the various achievements of Modi government, he also said that the promises made by the UPA governemnet is being fulfilled by the current government.

Contradicting Bhatia's statement, Ghanshyam Tiwari said,"Today, the BJP has created such an environment in the country where you don't need to do anything, only chant 'Modi Modi'. He also said that in reality the Central government has given way to a number of problems in the country and the facts are stated in newspapers.
