Don't we all remember the adorable Jiya aka Shruti Seth from Shararat? We all wanted to be a good witch like her. While she is famous for her character in Shararat, Shruti Seth is also known for her strong voice and she often shares her opinions on different matters concerning life, politics, and entertainment on her social media platforms.
The actress took to her Twitter to share a nostalgic tweet about righteousness and got brutally trolled on Twitter. While it is true that we live in complicated times when the class and religious differences are a major source of disturbances, people seem to be not in the mood to be taught by anyone. After her tweet, while some asked her to turn off the social media, others suggested moving to Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.
Here’s what she wrote-
There was a time when we were either good people or bad people— Shruti Seth (@SethShruti) June 23, 2018
Not Muslim, Hindu, gay, straight, bjp, congress, AAP, liberal or right wing people like we have forced to become and identify as.
I want that time back. And I hope we can all be just good people.
In case you are wondering what were the reactions to her tweet, which was meant to spread positivity, have a look here-

Only one set of identity classified the rest as good and bad. Now all identities have their voices. I prefer this reality. Of course we have to create more harmony, but I refuse to have that one identity dominate the moral space any more— இராகேசு (@vraksjai) June 24, 2018
