In India, cricket connection with Bollywood is not new. From Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi-Sharmila Tagore, Harbhajan Singh-Geeta Basra to Virat Kohli-Anushka Sharma and Zaheer Khan and Sagarika Ghatge, all these couples have been favourite of shutterbugs as well as fans. The latest one to join the bandwagon is Hardik Pandya and Parineeti Chopra.
The duo played a series of tweets on the micro-blogging site Twitter leaving their admirers amused and bewildered. It all started when Parineeti posted a picture of bicycle on her Twitter account with the caption, "The perfect trip with the most amazing partner. Love is in the air!!!".

While her followers were busy showering praises on the click there was this lad from the Indian Cricket Team that stole the thunder. He commented, "Can I guess? I think this is a second Bollywood & Cricket link. Great click by the way".
This led people think about their prospective affair but it was Parineeti's reply that convinced everyone that something is brewing between the duo. She wrote, "Hahaha. Maybe. Maybe not. All I can say is that the clue is in the pic itself!!!"
However, next day the 'Ishqzaade' star shared a video on her Twitter account clarifying about her new 'partner' which is Xiaomi phone. "Wow guys! I couldn’t imagine that a beautiful photo and a simple caption could actually demand a video. I guess the picture was that amazing but now, to clarify, again, my perfect partner is my new phone," she said in the video. In the digital era, celebrities often resort to such catchy methods to endorse products.

Meanwhile, on the work front Parineeti will next be seen in Rohit Shetty's Golmaal Again and will also reunite with her first co-star Arjun Kapoor for Dibakar Banerjee's directorial Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar. Hardik, on the other hand, is basking in the victory against host Sri Lanka along with the team.
