Gold, Silver Prices Today March 24: After making record highs last week, gold prices in the domestic futures market fluctuated on Monday, i.e. March 24, 2025, on profit booking and amid uncertainty over US President Donald Trump's tariff policies. The gold April 4 contract on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) opened today at Rs 87,786 per 10 grams, a gain of Rs 8 from the previous close of 87,778. At the time of writing the news, the contract was trading at Rs 87,899, up by Rs 121 or 0.14 per cent. Between this, it touched the high of Rs 87,899 and the low of Rs 87,681.
Similarly, silver futures, maturing on May 5, 2025, witnessed a gain in the opening trade. The contract opened higher at Rs 98,179 per kg on the MCX, a gain of Rs 295 from the previous close of Rs 97,884. It later reached the high of 98,480. At the time of writing this report, it was trading at Rs 98,375 - a gain of Rs 491 points or 0.50 per cent from the previous close.

In the international market, the COMEX gold price fell and was around $3,028.2 per troy ounce. The spot gold price at 10:15 am was around $3,021.76 per ounce.
