Aspid GT-21 Invictus
Country of origin: Spain
The Aspid GT-21 Invictus is a new sports coupe design and probably one of the best cars to emerge from Spain in recent memory. The car is powered by a BMW-sourced, 450hp 4.4-liter V8 engine, and uses a seven-speed dual-clutch or six-speed manual gearbox. The Invictus can easily attain a speed of 0-62 mph in under three seconds as well as attain a top speed of 187. Other features include composite body panels, a spaceframe chassis, 2ư seating, and a guaranteed limit on production of just 250 units a year. The company has managed to keep weight to a mere 2,182 pounds thanks to composite body panels and a spaceframe chassis. “From a visual perspective and to set us apart, we needed to retain an element of the unique design form of an open wheel car as characterised by the Aspid Super Sport,” feels the company.
