New Delhi, Dec 10: The New Year is almost here, which for some people may mean trying to find a new job. But are you still struggling for a job? In case you are a computer system analyst, sales account, sales representative, or a market research analyst, then there's a good chance that you'll get a well paid job in 2013.

Given that the world is becoming increasingly dependent on technology with scores of inventions taking place on a daily basis, technology is the sector where a lot of opportunity will lie in the year ahead. This is certainly good news for geeks and creatives whose New Year's resolutions include “make more money”:

A new study by CareerBuilder and Economic Modeling Specialists Intl. (EMSI) listed the best ten professions that require a bachelor's degree for 2013. The study used EMSI's rich labor market database, which pulls from over 90 national and state employment resources in the US and includes detailed information on employees and self-employed workers, to find the 18 top jobs for 2013, based on the occupations with the most jobs added since 2010.

According to the survey, the profession that has produced the most jobs post-recession is in the field of software development (applications and systems software). Since 2010, 70,872 jobs have been added (7 per cent growth). The average pay for these professionals is $90,530 a year, and the BLS expects a 30 per cent increase in the number of software developers by 2020 (from 2010).

India TV Business takes a look at some of these “so hot” jobs for the coming year.
