New Delhi, Jan 2: Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the sixth edition of biennial Vibrant Gujarat Global Investors' Summit (VGGIS) in Gandhinagar on January 11.
A brainchild of Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi, ‘Vibrant Gujarat' is a flagship knowledge-cum-investment summit started in 2003 and has since been held once every two years.
The three-day event is expected to culminate in the signing of MoUs promising huge investments in diverse sectors in the State. In the 2011 Summit, over 8,000 MoUs were signed promising investments of a whopping Rs 20 lakh crore.
