New Delhi: Micromax has silently launched its new Android 4.4 KitKat-based smartphone, the Canvas L, at Rs 10,499 in India. The phone is now listed on Infibeam and is available in a Black colour option only.
The Micromax Canvas L (A108) is a dual-SIM device (GSM+GSM) that runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat out-of-the-box. It comes with a 5.5-inch qHD (540x960 pixels) IPS display and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek (MT6582M) processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. It offers 8GB of inbuilt storage which is further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB).
On the imaging front, the device offers an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash, and sports a 2-megapixel fixed focus front-facing camera. The Micromax Canvas L smartphone also includes a 2350mAh battery that is rated to deliver up to 8 hours of talk time and up to 210 hours of standby time. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, GPRS/ EDGE, and 3G.
The Canvas L comes preloaded with apps such as Kingsoft Office, BMS, Clean Master, Games club, Getit, Hike, Miskin, Mi Games, Mi Insurance, Mi live, Mi security, MAD, Opera Mini, Swift key, and True Caller.
