New Delhi, June 25: Chinese handset maker Gionee has come out with a new quad core smartphone, called CTRL V4. The smartphone has a 4.5 inch screen with FWVGA (480x854) resolution and is now available on e-commerce sites and retail stores across the country for Rs 9,999.
The smartphone is powered 1.2GHz quad-core Cortex A7 processor, paired with PowerVR Series 5XT GPU and 512MB of RAM. Other features include a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, VGA front camera, in-built Yamaha PA 168 digital sound system, 4GB of internal memory that can be expanded to up to 32GB using a microSD card and 1,800mAh battery.
The smartphone runs the latest Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system. Connectivity-wise the CTRL V4 features dual-SIM card slots, 3G support, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 4.0. The device is available in black and white color options and competes against the likes of Karbonn Titanium S1 and the Xolo Q800, Xolo Q700.
Gionee is also gearing to launch the ELife E6 simultaneously in countries like China and India on July 10 at an event in Beijing.
