Ford Motors recently introduced a limited edition variant of the EcoSport compact SUV on the company's UK Facebook page.
Ford has also announced that only 500 ‘Limited Editions' will be available across Europe. For UK there are 120 of right hand drive models of the limited edition EcoSport.
The Ford EcoSport Limited Edition features new 17 inch alloy wheels along with added equipment such as Ford SYNC AppLink system that enables the driver with voice control over smartphone apps, 12 months of unlimited audio book downloads from Audioteka, leather upholstery, cruise control, auto dimming rear view mirror and automatic headlamps.
The EcoSport Limited Edition models gives consumers the choice of a 125PS 1.0 litre EcoBoost petrol engine or a 91PS 1.5-litre diesel engine in the UK with prices starting at £16,995 (Rs 17,55,366).
British customers can reserve Limited Edition EcoSport models, which are priced from £16,995, on a dedicated website by following a link from Facebook. The ordering process can be completed at any of the UK's 530 official Ford dealers upon receipt of a special reservation voucher.
In India, Ford has reported over 40,000 bookings.
