New Delhi: Tata Motors' much-anticipated Aria Facelift MPV has been launched in India for a starting price of Rs 9.95 lakh.
The new Aria facelift is available in three variants- Pure LX 4×2, Pleasure 4×2 and Prestige 4×4.
The model is powered by the same 2.2 litre VariCor four cylinder common rail diesel engine that powered its predecessor. The turbocharged unit gives a max power of 150PS at 4,000 rpm, which is 10PS more than what the motor produced in the pre-facelift model.
The company claims a fuel efficiency of 15.05 kmpl for the new Aria.
Design-wise, the car looks stylish with reworked headlights, clear lens tail lights and 'Aria' decals on the sides.
The base variant of the Aria Facelift Pure 4x2 comes with rear air-con vents, driver information system, sunglass holder, remote central locking, disc brakes, electric wing mirrors, projector headlamps and follow-me-home headlamps. The middle variant Pleasure 4x2 offers users full chrome grille, body-coloured roof rails, rear wiper and defogger, roof storage bins, chilled glove box, reverse parking sensors, front airbags and ABS with EBD, in addition to the features offered in the base variant.
The top version comes loaded with front, side and curtain airbags, ABS, EBD, TCS, ESP, automatic climate control, automatic headlights and wipers, cruise control, a 360 Watts JBL-Harman sound system with 10 speakers, 17-inch alloy wheels, and a Navteq navigation system.
The car competes against the likes of Mahindra XUV 500 and Toyota Innova.
