New Delhi: Looking to capture a big pie of budget smartphone segment in India, Celkon has launched two new smartphones - the Millennium Elite Q470 and Millennium Power Q3000.


The Celkon Millennium Elite Q470 comes with a 4.7-inch HD (720x1280 pixel) IPS display, offering One Glass Solution (OGS) technology, and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek (MT6582) processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. The device comes with 16GB inbuilt storage which is further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB). It is a dual-SIM smartphone and runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box.

Millennium Elite Q470 packs an 8-megapixel rear camera along with a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. The device gets its juice from an 1800mAh Li-ion battery that is rated to deliver up to 6 hours of talk time and up to 140 hours of standby time. Connectivity options include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPRS/EDGE, and 3G. The Millennium Elite Q470 measures 138.4x68.8x8.3mm and weighs 137 grams. The dual-SIM Celkon Millennium Power Q3000, comes with a a 5-inch FWVGA (480x854 pixels) display; 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek (MT6582M); 1 GB RAM; 4GB of inbuilt storage; expandable storage support up to 32GB (via microSD card); 8-megapixel rear camera; 1.3-megapixel front camera, and 3G. The device packs 3000mAh battery which is rated to deliver up to 12 hours of talk time and up to 375 hours of standby time on 3G networks. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat.

Earlier, Celkon launched its first and also India's cheapest Android 4.4 KitKat smartphone, the Campus A35K, at Rs. 2,999.

Both the Celkon Millenium Power Q3000 and Millenium Power Q470 will come bundled with free flip covers through online retailer Snapdeal. While Q3000 will be available on the website from tommorow the latter will go on sale on July 21.
