New Delhi “Achche Din” for online shoppers are surely here. Following a massive response by consumers for Flipkart's Big Billion Day sale, e-tailer Amazon has come out with heavy discounts for customers in its 'Online Shopping Dhamaka' sale starting October 10.
While Flipkart's much touted sale was filled with numerous glitches, Amazon is promising to offer a better experience to customers.
Hoping to not commit the same mistakes as done by rivals, Amazon has spruced up its inventory to ensure adequate availability of the deals advertised every hour.
“We are looking forward to 'Diwali Dhamaka Week' starting October 10, and will continue to delight our customers with everyday savings through everyday deals across a wide variety of selection,” Amazon said in a statement.
Amazon says the sale brings thousands of deals on the hottest products, along with first access to unique selections and premium brands, new store launches and exciting contests.
To make the site more useful, Amazon has also added few user-friendly features such as creating a wish list and making multiple lists within itself.
For instance, Micromax Canvas Knight A350 (Black) is listed on Amazon at Rs 11,999.00 (offering a whopping 56 per cent discount), Xbox One Console at Rs 34,990.00 (13 per cent off), Lenovo S5000 Tablet (WiFi, 3G), Silver-Grey at Rs 6,949.00 (42 per cent off), and much more
Like previous occasions, Amazon expects consumer electronics (including PCs), books shoes, home and kitchen, baby and health and personal care products to fly of its racks during the sale season.
