E-commerce giant Flipkart has announced mega sale to encash the festive season.
The Bengaluru based company has decided to host its annual festive ‘Big Billion Day’ sale this year from October 2 to October 6.
This year, the company has said that it will be bringing in discounts in over 80 categories of products, and offers like no-cost EMIs and product exchange schemes.
Also, the sale will include special discounts in collaboration with particular banks.
The company has claimed that this year’s five-day Big Billion Day sale will be ‘bigger and better’.
“This year, our key focus is to ensure maximum value to our consumers by making quality products affordable and accessible. Great offers and exclusive partnerships will give our customers more options to choose from, and our innovative consumer finance, delivery and installation for large electronics and product exchange programs will only add to the customer delight this festive season,” Kalyan Krishnamurthy, head, category design organization, at Flipkart, said.
This is the third edition of the ‘Big Billion Day’ sale, which was first launched by the online marketplace in October 2014.
The last year’s ‘Big Billion Day’ sale was exclusive to Flipkart’s app users. This year, the company hasn’t revealed whether the sale will also be app exclusive or not.
