After the success of Mi Band and Mi Band Pulse, Xiaomi on Wednesday introduced the 2nd Generation fitness tracker 'Mi Band 2' in India at a competitive price of Rs 1,999.
The Mi Band 2 was launched internationally in June earlier this year.
Mi Band 2 focuses on tracking fitness and sleeping patterns. It comes with a small display and also monitors heart rate.
Packed with a 70mAh battery, the Mi Band 2 gives 20 days of standby time as compared to 30 days with the Mi Band first generation.
Now equipped with an all-new OLED display and heart rate sensor, the device is also compatible with the Mi Fit app, available on Android and iOS.
It’s additional features include alert on incoming calls, alarms, notifications, etc.
Mi Band 2 has a lightweight and slim design, is IP67 water-resistant, and comes with a hypoallergenic silicone band. This means it can be worn almost all the time, perfect for both workouts and sleep tracking. For even more convenience, users can unlock their Android 5.0 (or later) smartphones instantly with Mi Band 2 when held close together.
The device comes in Black, Blue, Green, and Orange colours.
The Mi Band 2 will go on sale on Mi.com starting September 27. It will later be available on Amazon India starting September 30.
