OnePlus has launched the OnePlus 6T at a starting price of $549, but in India, the smartphone is expected to be priced below Rs 40,000. The device will be going on sale in India on 2nd November.

The OnePlus 6T seems like an evolved version of OnePlus 6 since they both share the same design and very much a similar hardware. The phone comes powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor and for optics comes with the same dual-camera setup that is there on OnePlus 6. The primary camera is a 16 Megapixel Sony IMX519 sensor with F1.7 lens and the second camera is the same 20 Megapixel Sony IMX376K sensor with F1.7 lens, but a smaller sensor. Although the OnePlus 6T shares the same hardware like the OnePlus camera, the new OnePlus 6T is expected to click better low light images, better portrait shots and better selfies, thanks to the new image processing algorithms. Towards the front is the new 20 Megapixel image sensor for clicking selfies.

The major difference between the OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T is the in-display fingerprint sensor, bigger battery and the display size. The OnePlus 6T sports a 6.4 inch OLED display, featuring a waterdrop notch with a fingerprint sensor placed inside the screen. The phone houses a 3,700mAh battery with fast charge support (5V, 4A) that is capable of delivering a full day of power in 30 minutes of charge.

The company decided not to put the 3.5mm headphone jack like the other flagship competition and instead will work with Bullets USB-C wired earphones that were announced earlier. These earphones are priced at Rs 1,450.
