Nokia set to launch three new smartphones on December 5

HMD Global is said to host an event in Dubai where it is likely to launch new Nokia smartphones at the event.

HMD Global, the company that is taking care of Nokia phones is gearing up to launch new phones on the 5th of December. The company is said to host an event in Dubai that was taken up on Twitter as well with Juno Sarvikas posting a tweet about the same.

So far there is no confirmation by the company, as to what phones they will be revealing at the event but it is expected that there could be at least three new phones that could be revealed during the launch event.

Rumours suggest that one of the phones could be the Nokia 7.1 Plus as it is been expected for a while now, as HMD Global has launched the Nokia X7 in China that is anticipated to be the Nokia 7.1 Plus for the International market. There are reports that the Nokia X7 that is touted to be the Nokia 7.1 Plus for the global market could be the Nokia 8.1.

Additionally, there are reports that there could be a Nokia 2.1 Plus as well that might make its way, while the Nokia 9 too has been making news for a while, as the smartphone is suggested to sport a Penta-camera setup at the back.

The Nokia 9 is expected to run on Android 9 and might feature a 6.01-inch display with Corning  Gorilla Glass 5 protection and is rumoured to be powered by the Snapdragon 845 SoC paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.

Nokia 9 is touted to be the company's flagship smartphone that was anticipated to launch in 2018 but has been getting delayed on multiple occasions. However, there have been reports that HMD just might not launch the Nokia 9 this year and might at all and would be unveiled ay MWC 2019 instead.

With a teaser posing the launch event to be held in Dubai, we are not entirely sure if Nokia 9 will be unveiled during the event.
