Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates:Younis Khan continued his domination of Australia's bowlers on Friday, progressing to 141 not out as Pakistan reached 405-3 at lunch on the second day of the second cricket test.

Younis survived at least three chances against a luckless Australian attack and shared another pivotal partnership with Misbah-ul Haq, who was unbeaten on 55, as Pakistan added 101 for the loss of one wicket in the morning session.

Azhar Ali, who reached his century off the penultimate ball on day one, added only eight runs to his overnight score before he was caught brilliantly down the leg side by make-shift wicketkeeper David Warner off Mitchell Starc for 109, ending a 236-run third-wicket stand.

Australian wicketkeeper Brad Haddin hurt his right shoulder diving for a catch and had to leave the field, further compounding Michael Clarke's problems as the Australian captain tries to manufacture ways to remove the established batsmen and chase a victory to level the series.

In the third over, Warner dropped Younis at gully off Mitchell Johnson with the veteran Pakistan batsman was on 112. Three overs later, Haddin was injured as he tried to snare an edge off Siddle's bowling.

One over after taking the gloves from Haddin, Warner missed a stumping chance off Nathan Lyon with Younis on 125. Warner, an opening batsman and agile fielder, made some amends six balls later when he took a diving catch to complete the dismissal of Ali.

Pakistan only needs a draw in Abu Dhabi to secure its first series victory over Australia since 1994.
