W. Indies win toss, elects to bowl vs. NZ in 1st ODI

Jamaica, Jul 5: West Indies captain Darren Sammy won the toss Thursday and chose to bowl in the first of five one-day internationals against New Zealand.





West Indies omitted Tino Best and Johnson Charles from its team for the match at Sabina Park, with allrounder Andre Russell returning to the side.

New Zealand, led by Kane Williamson in the absence of injured Ross Taylor, left out Nathan McCullum, Doug Bracewell and Tom Latham from its squad.
