Sydney, Jan 1: In what appears to be a faux pas, Team India cricketers were made to stand and wait outside the Australiam prime minister's residence for 10 minutes, as the invitees had reached the place ahead of the appointed time.
 
Team India cricketers were supposed to meet Prime Minister Julia Gillard on Sunday.

They had been invited to the Prime Minister's House, called here Kirribilli House.
 
The meeting was to begin at 2 pm AET, and both the Indian and Australian siders were invited.
 
Team India reached the place a little early at around 1:45 pm.

The security personnel at the Australian prime minister's residence asked the cricketers to wait outside.
 
As the impatient cricketers stood outside, some of them went back to their bus to while their time away
 
Finally, at 1:57 pm Team India cricketers were allowed to enter the prime minister's residence.
 
Team India cricketers had finished their practice session early in order to meet Julia Gillard.
