New Delhi, May 16: Janata Dal-United chief Sharad Yadav, who had been opposing IPL for the last several years, today reiterated his demand to put a stop to the tournament, after three cricketers were arrested for spotfixing.
Speaking to reporters, Yadav said, Indian government should take immediate action and stop IPL immediately. "Cricket is after all a spot, and in IPL, they bring cheergirls from all around the world, make them wear less clothers and dance."
"This is against Indian culture. I believe, many corrupt people are involved in IPL, which should stop", said the JD-U chief.
