Sehwag denies seeking retirement from T20 matches

New Delhi, Nov 1: Team India's powerful batsman Virender Sehwag today denied news reports that he had sought retirement from all Twenty20 matches to concentrate on Tests and one-day matches. Sehwag tweeted:@virendersehwag: Another baseless story





Mail Today reported that a  senior BCCI official said Sehwag  had shown reluctance in playing Twenty20 matches and that he would  like to concentrate more on Test cricket and ODIs.


"He has informed the board that he doesn`t want to play T20 Internationals anymore and would like to concentrate on the longer versions. He cited fitness and the rigours of T20 cricket as the reason behind his decision," Mail Today reported.
