Islamabad, July 3 : The Pakistan Cricket Board intends to find a UK-based lawyer to see if fast bowler Mohammad Amir could get a 20 per cent reduction in his five-year ban for spot-fixing.

Acting chairman of the PCB Najam Sethi said he has discussed Amir's ban with fellow directors and soon a British lawyer will be hired to "look at ways to get at least 20 per cent relief for Amir."

The ICC banned Amir for five years for bowling no-balls at pre-determined times so as to fix spot-betting markets during a test match against England in 2010.
