South African pair of captain Graeme Smith (68) and Hashim Amla (36) were looking in good mood of taking the lead on Day 2 but Ishant Sharma striked after lunch and picked 2 wickets on back to back deliveries.

Ishant first picked Amla when he bowled him and then on the very next delivery he lbwed Kallis on a duck.

Then Zaheer strike quickly removing Smith.

Shami also the man who took 2 quick wickets in the last session with dismissing AB de Villiers (13) and Duminy (2).

South African all rounder Vernon Philander had a good day with both with the ball and the bat too.

He took 4 wickets earlier in the first session and then in the last session he scored 48 not out.
