In-form opener Murali Vijay was run out cheaply again for 12 while taking a quick single. Shortly after him, Pujara (2) was caught at first slip off Moeen Ali. Dhawan (37) and Kohli (28) built a 50 run partnership but it was soon broken by Joe Root who dismissed Dhawan again at slips. Soon after Kohli followed him back to the pavilion after being caught behind by Buttler off Ali.

Moeen Ali took 2 wickets for 33 runs in his 12 overs while Joe Root took 1 wicket.

India still need 333 more runs to win with 6 wickets in hand.
