Controversies which made IPL, the Problem League for BCCI

New Delhi: Indian Premiere League which is the golden goose of BCCI, has been engulfed in the controversies since beginning. Many records are made on the cricket ground but at the same time some off

 

Boss shown the Door:  Lalit Modi who is being credited for bringing and implementing  a new and untested concept of city based games in India in the form of IPL was shown the door. The BCCI in 2010 has finally taken a bold decision to remove  Mr Lalit Modi who has been in the lime light since the inception of the tournament  .

 

Breakaways: The league started with eight team participating in the tournament and then the process of expansion had started in the subsequent season's of the league. But to the disappoint of the cricket fans based in various cities in India , three teams till date has either been rejected or their registration has been cancelled .The first team to do that was noew defunct KOCHI TUSKERS  in which a name of the union minister also got involved. Deccan Chargers Hyderabad  and Sahara Pune Warriors are the other two teams to leave the league.
