Mumbai: The Mumbai Police crime branch today filed its chargesheet against 22 persons including BCCI president N Srinivasan's son-in-law Gurunath Meiyappan and later wrestler Dara Singh's son Vindoo Dara Singh.

The 22 persons face charges of cheating and spotfixing.

Pakistani umpire Asad Rauf has been declared "wanted accused" by police in this case.

Mumbai Police has alleged in the chargesheet that it was Vindoo Dara Singh who alerted umpire Asad Rauf and helped him flee India. Police said in the chargesheet it has recovered invoices for gifts purchased for Asad Rauf. The chargesheet says it was Vindoo Dara Singh who has passing on key information about IPL matches tothe bookies.

The chargesheet said, Asad Rauf was the key link to the bookies who were taking bets for IPL matches.

With today's chargesheet, pressure has finally mounted on N Srinivasan to resign from the post of BCCI president immediately.
