LONDON: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has set next Tuesday as the date for a disciplinary hearing against James Anderson for shoving India's Ravindra Jadeja during the first test.

The ICC said on its website it has appointed Gordon Lewis, Australia's representative on the code of conduct commission, as judicial commissioner. The hearing will be by telephone conference call.

Lewis will also hear the level-two charge against Jadeja which England requested in response to the charging of Anderson. The incident took place as the players left the field for lunch on day two of the first test at Trent Bridge.

Anderson could be banned for up to four test matches, potentially ruling him out of the remaining three against India. Jadeja could be banned for one test and fined 50-100% of his match fee.
