Perth, Australia: England's bowlers could pick up just one additional wicket Friday as the WACA Chairman's XI declared its innings at 451-5 in a three-day tour match, England's first of the Ashes tour.

The Western Australia side declared shortly before lunch on day two, with Ashton Turner unbeaten on 62 in a lineup where the top-six batsmen all made it past 50. Queensland's Chris Lynn top scored with 104 on Thursday.

England's pace attack was unimpressive. James Anderson, Chris Tremlett, Boyd Rankin and Steven Finn took just three wickets between them, although Anderson was economical with 1-55 off 23 overs.

The visitors, preparing for the first Ashes test against Australia beginning Nov. 21 in Brisbane, rested skipper Alastair Cook, Kevin Pietersen, Graeme Swann and Stuart Broad.
