ST. JOHN'S, Antigua: Joe Root hit his maiden one-day century and Jos Buttler scored 99 as England amassed 303-6 off its 50 overs against West Indies in the third and final one-day international on Wednesday.

Root's 107 off 122 balls included seven fours and lifted England from the early trouble of 37-2 in the seventh over at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium.
  
Root shared a fifth wicket stand of 175 with Buttler, who fell in the final over, one short of his own maiden century at this level. Buttler slammed seven fours and four sixes off 84 balls.
  
Earlier, Moeen Ali had helped lay the platform with his first one-day fifty, compiling 55.
  
West Indies captain Dwayne Bravo, who sent in England after winning the toss, took 3-60.
  
The series is level at 1-1.
