In Antigua in April, 2005, South Africa and West Indies had slammed 8 centuries in all in their test match.

Bangladesh batsmen scored three tons, while the hosts slammed five.

For Sri Lanka, Kumar Sangakkara scored centuries in both the innings, while thirimane scored unbeaten 155 and Dinesh Chandimal scored unbeaten 116 runs.  Tilakratne Dilshan scored 126.

For Bangladesh, Mohd Ashraful scored 190, Mushfiqur Rahim scored 200 (the first Test double ton by a Bangladeshi) and Naasir Hussain scored 100 runs.
