Duba: The International Cricket Council (ICC) Tuesday announced that it has received 17 bids from various broadcasters across different territories for its audio-visual rights for ICC events during 2015-2023.

"In response to its Invitation to Tender issued in July 2014, the International Cricket Council is pleased to confirm that it has received 17 bids. All bids are now in the process of being reviewed for compliance with the terms and conditions of the tender arrangements and, at this stage," the ICC said in a statement.

The major global events during this period are World Twenty20 2016, Champions Trophy 2021 and Cricket World Cup 2023 (all in India), Champions Trophy 2017 and Cricket World Cup 2019 (both in England and Wales) and World Twenty20 2020 (Australia).
