6) Ravindra Jadeja –Sir
‘Sir', the honorary title was bestowed upon the Indian allrounder after his (un)impressive performance in the 2009 T20 World cup. Somebody also played with Jadeja's Wikipedia account and referred him as a philanthropist and a Nobel Prize recipient. Then the all rounder was trolled all over social media and got a prefix to his name.
7) Ravichandran Ashwin – Ash
Don't confuse it with Aishwarya Rai, the Bollywood Diva , neither does it indicate the arch rivalry between Australia and England. This is the name of India's top spinner, Ravichandran ‘Ash' Ashwin.
8) Parthiv Patel – Bachcha
The nickname of a 30-year-old guy not because of his age or maybe height as well. It was his cute baby face that earned him the title.
9) Inzamam Ul-Haq – Inzy, Aloo
He was called by these names for obvious reasons. The latter one is offensive, though. Inzmaam was repeatedly targeted in 1997 Toronto Indo-Pak series and was called several kind of potatoes by an Indian fan which resuted in Inzamam grabbing a bat and heading for abuser's head but thankfully the security reatrained him.
10) Ajinkya Rahane – Jinks
Jinks and Jinx both have similar phonetics but our very own Ajinkya ‘Jinks' Rahane has been quite lucky for the team till now in the world cup. Hope he doesn't ‘Jinks' it.
