Royal Challengers Bangalore skipper Virat Kohli is known for his passionate aggression on field and doesn't hesitate to show it, but did the RCB skipper take it a bit far this time? During the Indian Premier League clash between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kings XI Punjab on Wednesday in Bengaluru, Punjab were chasing a mammoth total of 202/4 and required 27 runs in the final over when KXIP R Ashwin came in to bat.

Ashwin hit Umesh for a six on his first delivery and hoped to repeat the same in the second, but he mistimed his shot which went directly to the RCB skipper who was present at the long-on boundary. After taking the catch, Kohli acted in a rather aggressive manner and fans know what his 'aggression' is all about.

After the fiery send off, Ashwin on his part was also seen throwing his gloves in the dugout in anger.

"I just played with passion, so does he (Virat). That's it. As simple as that," Ashwin said at the post-match press conference here on Wednesday night after KXIP lost to RCB by 17 runs.

Navdeep Saini's fabulous penultimate over kept Royal Challengers Bangalore afloat as they beat Kings XI Punjab by 17 runs in an Indian Premier League encounter on Wednesday.

AB de Villiers' unbeaten 82 off 44 balls took RCB to a healthy 202 for 4 and things could have gone awry with young Nicholas Pooran (46 off 28 balls) hitting five sixes at the rear before Saini sealed it in the 19th over. Kings XI Punjab finished at 185 for 7 as RCB are now on eight points with three games left.

Needing 30 off the last two, Saini (2/33), who is one of India's fastest bowlers produced a hostile over in which he removed the dangerous David Miller and Pooran but more importantly gave away only three runs.
