Mumbai, Sept 8: Targetting Union Home Minister P Chidambaram in the aftermath of yesterday's blast in Delhi, Shiv Sena executive president Uddhav Thackeray today asked why the government did not act if it had intelligence inputs about the possibility of terror attack.

“Chidambaram says that inputs were provided to the Delhi police, but necessary steps were not taken. What were they (Centre) doing?” he asked.

Uddhav said that Union Home Minister's “body language shows as if nothing has happened”.

The Sena leader said such attacks and “blackmailing” would continue until Afzal Guru, convicted in the Parliament attack case, was executed.

About the potholed roads in Mumbai, he said the civic body BMC (controlled by Sena-BJP) alone could not be blamed for the potholes, the MMRDA (special body for Mumbai infrastructure development) and MSRDC (state road department) too were responsible. PTI
