There is no Modi wave, it's only in media: Lovely

New Delhi: Delhi Congress chief Arvinder Singh Lovely today claimed that the ‘Modi wave' that everyone seems to be talking about was “not there at all” and it existed only in media.“There is no ‘Modi

The state Congress chief said that the “abandoning of government” by AAP's Arvind Kejriwal and the BJP-led “corrupt” three MCDs in the capital city will transfer the votes we lost earlier in our favour.

“People of Delhi saw what AAP did, after they supported him last time. And, all the municipal bodies led by BJP are the most corrupt institutions, what government will they give to people. I think, people are already fed up with the corruption in the state,” Lovely alleged.  Attacking BJP further he said, “If Modi loses, he will be turned into an Advani, but Rahul irrespective of his win or loss, will remain our leader”.

BJP leader Vijay Goel, meanwhile after exercising her franchise from the Chandani Chowk constituency claimed, “BJP is coming stronger in Delhi after the polls.” “Harsh Vardhan will win the Chandani Chowk seat by defeating Congress's Kapil Sibal and AAP's Ashutosh by a huge margin,” Goel said.

Asked if urban or rural voters were closer to the BJP, he claimed, “Modi has breached the divide that existed between urban and rural voters. And, it is BJP's time now”.
