India TV-CVoter poll: 68 pc say Kejriwal govt committed mistakes on several issues

New Delhi: Arvind Kejriwal led AAP government has become a history. After 49 days of taking the reins of power in Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal finally resigned on Feb 14, 2014. In the first ever opinion poll conducted after Kejriwal's resignation, 68 percent of respondents said that Kejriwal government committed mistakes on several important issues as it was in a hurry. 28 percent of the respondents did not agree with this while 4 percent had no opinion on this matter.The opinion poll was conducted by India TV in association with C-Voter.Delhites expressed their unhappiness over the unnecessary scenes crated by Kejriwal and his ministers. A whopping 71 percent of respondents believed that instead of working seriously, Kejriwal and his ministers created unruly scenes. 26 percent of respondents did not agree with this while 3 percent had no opinion on this issue. But on performance, Kejriwal got wide approval from Delhites. A total of 66 percent of respondents appeared satisfied with Kejriwal's performance. Out of these 66 percent, 18 percent termed Kejriwal govt's performance as OK, 24 percent said it was good while another 24 percent termed it very good. 29 percent of respondents were not happy with Kejriwal govt's performance. Out of these 29 percent, 13 percent termed Kejriwal govt's performance as bad while 16 percent termed it very bad. 3 percent of respondents had no opinion on this question.Similarly, 60 percent of the respondents believed that Arvind kejriwal was a better CM in comparison to Sheila Dikshit. 33 percent did not agree with this while 7 percent had no oinion on this question. 52 percent of the respondents agreed that the working of Delhi government improved after Kejriwal govt took over the reins of power while 39 percent did not agree with this. 9 percent of the respondents had no opinion on this question.Kejriwal govt got a thumbs up from respondents on question of its deliverance on electricity, water and issue of corruption. 51 percent of respondents believed that Kejriwal govt fulfilled its promises on issues like electricity, water and corruption. 42 percent did not agree with this while 7 percent of respondents had no views on this topic. On a question related to bribery in Delhi, 52 percent of respondents agreed that the incidents of bribery have gone down in Delhi after Kejriwal govt took over the reins of power. 36 percent of respondents did not agree with this while 12 percent had no opinion on this question. Interestingly, despite overall satisfaction with Kejriwal govt , a whopping 64 percent of the respondents did not agree that Kejriwal was a better PM candidate compared to Narendra Modi. Only 31 percent of the respondents believed that Kejriwal was a better PM candidate than Narendra Modi. 5 percent of the respondents had no views on this topic.
