New Delhi: Just before embarking on his flight to Myanmar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted to the nation to share thoughts and ideas for the visit. Modi is to kick off his three-nation ten-day visit that will also take him to Australia and Fiji.

 

Before leaving he tweeted, “Summits, important bilaterals, meeting over 40 world leaders. Leaving for Myanmar, Australia & Fiji”.  

 

“Do keep sharing thoughts & ideas for the visit. Here is a great place to keep updated on the visit.” He added on his twitter handle.Prime Minister Modi is to meet Nobel Laureate Aung San Suu Kyi among other leaders on the sidelines of the ASEAN and East Asian summits in the country.

The 12th ASEAN-India summit and the 9th East Asian summit will take place in Nay Pyi Taw on November 12 and November 13, respectively.

Modi will be also attending the G20 summit in Brisbane on November 15 and 16. November 17 has been reserved for his address to the Indian diaspora in Sydney. On November 19 he will be in Fiji.

In the latter part of the month, Modi is scheduled to attend the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) summit on November 26 and 27, which is being held in Nepal this year.

Prime Minister will be undertaking one of the longest visits an Indian Prime Minister has ever taken in recent times abroad. Hence we can say that this month, Narendra Modi is all set to create record for becoming most-traveled Indian PM in first 6 months.
